Talking about creatable kingdoms... that doesn't mean, in a given scenario start, a king of Portugal can be a king with just two or three provinces as a realm (just like Navarra, there's a king in the game, only you can't recreate the kingdom if it disappears). It was decided that at least six provinces is the minimum to make a kingdom creatable... so there's no Algarve (which wasn't really a kingdom, actually, but rather a title the king gave himself trying to gain some prestige, just like many others castillian kings used), there's no Granada... and there's no Navarra (so sad)
Well, if the english king may be King of England and Wales, why can't the Portuguese king be actually King of Portugal and Algarve? I really don't understand your point.
About that Duero thingy, i really don't care about the real name, the problem is that the river doesn't pass through Lisbon, it passes through Oporto and the distance between both cities is like 300km, like i said before.
