I started using computers (PC type) in 1985. The games then ran on my PCjr with 128K (thats right 128 KILOBYTES) of RAM. They were fun, fulfilling, and had great replay value.
Today, too many games go for flashy graphics, sound effects, and instant gratification. Paradox games remind me of the games I started with. Perhaps not on the cutting edge of graphics, but solid, enjoyable (for the most part), and worthy of hours and hours of replay. A game that is so good that you keep it, and play it over and over. Games that you CAN play on an older laptop as well as the desktop with a better graphics card. Games that have depth to them.
So, from an old fogey, Thanks Paradox.
