I would actually have loved a mix of CK2 and EU4 if it was set in the colonial age instead of Imperator's age

Imagine CK2 but instead of playing as a duke you can play as a statesman in the British or Dutch parliament. Or as an explorer of Spain or Portugal, exploring (and looting) the new world. You could get to be the governor of a newly founded colony or trade charter. Then if you want you can create unrest in your colony and try to rebel, creating a new nation in America.

Imperator, in my opinion, is a mix of CK2 and EU4 that just does neither of those games' mechanics well and doesn't offer anything interesting of its own. But set it in the colonial age and let you play as one character like in CK2 and suddenly you have a game that could be my new favorite paradox game.

What do you think? :)
