I'll add in how exactly I'm interpreting the teasers, just so I can look back and see if I was close on any of them-
#1: A feint towards Victoria's economy mechanics, but really a reference to the Populares faction in the Late Republic.
#2: Since Johan worked on both Vicky and EU, this was another feint towards Vicky that really suggests a broadly EU-style game.
#3: Yet another one intended to be readable as Vicky, but in this case probably referring to a Latinization or citizenship mechanic.
#4: "SPQR" is about as easy to spell as a name could possibly be.
#5: EU:R had a trade system where different goods gave distinct bonuses, but there was no measure of a given province's output, just how many trade routes it could have. I take this as a nod that they'll build on this mechanic further.
#6: The relatively low importance of religion means the game will likely end before Constantine or even the religious persecutions of Diocletian.
#7: No Norway means a map restricted to lower latitudes, but can also be read as a hint at a fantasy game (I think they just got tired of teasing Vicky diehards and want a new misdirection, but we'll see).
#8: The "tomorrow" is throwing me off because I'm twelve hours off of Stockholm time and I'm not sure what day was actually referenced. Either way, "bard" strongly hints at fantasy but could also reference Celtic culture.
