I want to play the 476 scenario!

I want to play this scenario but there is no Moddir in my EU2 game he says it plays like any other mod dir scenario but it won't load help me!

The mod will put all the files into a folder called '476' (or whatever it is). However there is no exe file (which there shouldnt be) there and the regular shortcut on your desktop links with the regular eu2.exe

What you need to do is to copy and paste the regular shortcut on your desktop (so there are two), rename the second one to '476 scenario'

The go into the shortcuts properties. rename the 'target field' from : "C:\Program Files\Paradox Entertainment\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe"

to

"C:\Program Files\Paradox Entertainment\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe" C:\Program Files\Paradox Entertainment\Europa Universalis 2\476

(assuming the folder in your eu2 folder is called 476 and assuming this is where your eu2 folder is placed - Americans will have Strategy First). This tells the shortcut to read from this folder first. You will use this shortcut to play the scenario.

Last time I've tried it, it was "play or crash"... aka I was able to play it, but not to save it, as that would freeze the comp and that would be it. The same happened with a clean, fresh vanilla install...

See EU2 Wiki about moddir and replace "AGCEEP" in the text with 476.
