I'm currently playing some Lithoid Void Dwellers, and I won the lottery. A Ruined Ring World spawned literally one hyperlane away!

While investigating it, I discovered a couple of Cryonic Clones.
Nice!
Uh-oh, food shortage!
Not to worry, I can designate my two non-capital habitats as hydroponics stations and employ the clones as farmers, so they can feed themselves. Plus, they have the "proles" trait which means 10% extra food from jobs. I WANT THEM TO BE FARMERS.

Except my Lithoid pops keep taking the farmer jobs instead, and it's very frustrating!

I do wish the UI can split pops up a bit more in a few places, namely:

Demographics tab - when you mouse over, it should break down what jobs these pops are working on so you understand what jobs are preferred by which species., and what percentage their ethics are, so you know which factions to manage.

Species modification - when you apply a template to a species, it breaks down where they are in your empire. Would be really useful to further break down what jobs they work so you can apply a template for a specific species working in specific jobs.

Population tab - I’d like to see which species and how many are a adopting a certain ethic, so I adjust their rights accordingly (either giving them less or more political power, reducing their pop growth etc.)

None of the above is available at a glance, but it would take out a lot of the busy work of managing pops.
