On the second hand, you have keyboards (such as the laptop I'm currently writing this on) where you don't have a dedicated pause-button,

On one of my computers there is a power off button right above the pause key. I've lost several EUII and HoI games by turning off the power instead of pausiing it Since I tent to play on different computers depending on which one is free I've never really got used to it being there, so at some point I'll hit it, stare in horror at the windows is shutting down screen, remember how much I'd did since the last save and then start to cry. At least I've not done that in Victoria...but that's only because it won't install on that machine

Edit: Oh, and TT:EV is great
