Is it normal to feel like you lost a close friend when your first character dies? I seriously feel terrible. lol

I had to slowly watch his health degrade, and then eventually be murdered by his grandson's mother, who was the current heir, because I didn't stop one of my sons from murdering her husband, who would've been the heir, so my grandson could be the heir instead, as he was a much better character. I feel like it was my fault... although, having happened 20 years ago, how could I have known?



Also "Facing the End" by The Sorrow, started playing while reading the death message, so I skipped the song, and it started playing "Goodbye" by Killswitch Engage. Wtf.

When my 90 year old ruler was murdered in prison by the emperor, I went into a murderous rage.

He didn't deserve to die like that..

(the entire imperial family was whiped out in the course of 10 years).

I chose the celibate trait during his campaing, and actually had to live four more years and do tons of paperwork after the invasion was dealt with

Lol yeah, I actually got remarried in my last couple years in order to gain an extra alliance, and had another daughter. Way to go 70 year old comatose dude!
