I think I found a nice idea for a CK II ''fantasy'' setup.

After having a blast with the Aztecs invasion, I think that adding fantasy can be very interesting in CK II.

Code Geass.

(If you wonder, Code Geass is a slightly over the top-anime, with an impressively detailed background world. Slightly is a real understatement here, even without the atrocious english dub. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDuSUDlK2dc)

I suspect that Paradox is at least aware of it, since they named the UK empire the ''Britannian Empire''.

So, how CK : Code Geass Edition would work, short of adding the Britannian Empire and rather unprobable clothing for the rulers ?

As in the series, the main difference would be the Geass (1). The Geass can be summarized as a a sort of demonic pact. You get one power, that is ultimately very corrupting. Examples of the anime usable in CK2

-Command : You can force anyone at your court, or your prisonners, to execute one action-even if they are extremely reluctant.
-Souljacking : Upon dying, you are ''transferred'' to another character, thus keeping your presumably kick-ass statistics.
-Mindreading : No one at your court can hide his plans from you
-Mindwipe : You can completely rewrite prisonners (and presumably keep their claims on duchies)

The plan woud be thus that the PC receive a special power corresponding roughly to his ambition. This Geass have devastating effects, but each use corrupt more the PC.

But seriously, Britannia makes sense as the name of an empire comprising all of the British Isles because that's what the Romans called it when they (temporarily) added bits of it to their empire. In-game, I think it's called "Empire of Britannia", not "Britannian Empire".

All I can say is good luck if you decide to mod something. CKII has all the lovely mods I've sought which no one ever wants to make for EU3.

Code Geass is about the world domination schemes of a rather over-the-top ''Holy Empire of Britannia'' or ''Britannian Empire''.

You're reading it wrong - they named them Hispania and Francia to hide the fact that they are secretly working on a DLC themed after some cartoon that barely anyone knows and they have no right to./sarcasm

you also have to note that they actually lost Britain proper at some point in the alt-history (IIRC they lost the napoleonic wars but won the revolutionary wars) and while they're "Britannia", they're essentially based in continental America.

The plan is to present the medieval Britannian society, with quite over the top plot points.

(Like for instance the canonical-for the series that is-catfight between C.C and Joan of Arc)

Gamewise that would be French and England having each an extremely powerful ''Geass'' user character, that have game breaking abilities.

In all honesty, the base material seems to be slightly obscure outside of anime circles and you may have trouble finding an audience. Also, you may have trouble finding help for your project due to said obscurity. If you are planning a TC mod, you will have a lot of work ahead of you and I'm sure there will be some copyright infringement issues. Maybe post this in the mod forum to see if you can spark some interest there.

My plan is simple. I like anime, I liked this anime Code Geass whose postulate is a super powerful Britannian Empire.

As Code Geass explains history by ''rulers having gnarly powers'', I want to make a mod that give rulers the said powers.
