I bought this game when it came out for full price cuz i pirated EU3 last year and really liked it. However, now I regret it. 50% off like a month or two after realease? how about you give me a 50% refund since i bought it the first week it came out? Oh cool I can play multiplayer (why would i want to?) Utter bullshit and I'm never buying a game again.

50% off is bargain bin pricing. This game just came out. Makes me feel like they dont value their game very high and has me asking why I had to pay so much?
You paid the price for being unable to wait until it went on sale. On Steam, it's only a matter of time and it'll be sooner rather than later (in most cases).
Lol, its really surprising to see the alleged ages in that ages thread. I don't go on steam every day to wait for the game i want to be 50% off. Why should i have to do that if i can just pirate something? just sell the game for $20 from the beginning if thats what its worth

Also where is it 50% off, it isn't on Steam.
You should really only pirate a game/movie/program to test it, see if you like it, etc.
If you don't like it, easy. e-Bin it.
If you do like it, at least have the common courtesy to pay for the developers hard work, unless the price is truly exorbitant; after all, its the livelihood of real people you could potentially be altering.

You don't need to check steam every day. Add the game of your choice, to your wishlist and Steam will automatically email you when it goes on sale.
However cool you think piracy is, admitting to it on a forum like this is a bad idea if you want to stick around. Anyway, as much as we are in awe of your coolness, and as sad and nerdy as we are playing Paradox games in our basements 24/7, all you've accomplished by posting this thread is give piracy a bad name. It's akin to gloating about inhaling the fumes of a certain angiosperm. Many people do it, some are among us and we openly accept them. But mention it, and you're a pariah.
You don't know that - So stop judging people. Games can be hidden (And are by default I believe). Only a moderator can and should make that distinction. Report the post, and move on.

Your theory can be aplied to any game on Steam, not only to Paradox games. But heck, Steam was my gaming-savior. A single physical copy game for console or pc cost 100 dollars in my country due to tax , so many people here just play pirate games because buying an original was madness. But Steam change our history, they gave us a possibility to pay games with a national credit card WITHOUT government taxes, since the game are sold digitally. Even if you payed for a full price (50,00 bucks), we thank Steam. Oh, and be careful not to be banned your troll!!! 
They're likely getting some publicity out to snag new players before the expansion.
