Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
just updated the game with Demetrius patch and loaded my iron man campaign with Rome.
Got the surprised that my government was empty... but more than that... I have a succession line with legitimacy and stuff... my republic became a monarchy. Lost my ruler title and the govenrment screen doesn't show my type of government any more.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
just updated the game with demetrius.

One more info, I had a previous save with Rome that is not on Iron man that is still working fine apparently.
So disapointed that it's the Iron man' one that got crashed... very very disapointed.

1.0.0 Ironman save games are NOT compatible with 1.0.1 Demetrius.
This behaviour is particularly what to expect when trying to continue an old ironman save in 1.0.1.

If you want to continue your old campaign, you'll have to use the 1.0.0 beta branch on steam.

Well I say "my bad" but I'm not the one who released an unfinished game. Feel a bit annoyed as I also play in French version. Not kind of the situation I was hopping in pre ordering this game. Will definitely think about it twice next time. Guess on your part all of my 40 euros where good money and no patch was necessary from my bank...

That is all well and good, but loading the save now means it is corrupted and cant be used in 1.0.0 anymore. What can be done about that? I dont want to start all over when I only miss 1 provice for Mare Nostrum etc

Gaga I was afraid of your answer. I did not see this mentioned before staarting my ironman Roman game and now it's farked. OK, on one hand I knew the sword was hanging over my head but can you implement a feature that will lock and ironman game to load on the wrong patch ?
