Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Merging cohorts with a clan retinue is not possible. Though recruiting a cohort in a city the clan retinue is standing on, does merge that cohort to the Clan Retinue.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Playing as Lemovicia, recruit a cohort in a city a clan retinue is standing on and one next to it, one cohort will become part of the clan retinue, yet merging with the other is impossible.
