Description of problem
Loyalty Problem

What platform are you playing on?
Steam

What game version are you running?
1.4.1

Please select any/all DLC you have enabled.

Do you have mods enabled? No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Please do something about the character's loyalty in the game. I don't know what exactly you did in the newest patch, but ever since it's out my Generals, Admirals, Governors and anyone of note is losing loyalty so fast without me doing anything to provoke them. I have Legions and Navies running along my Nation becase their Commanders decided not to be loyal anymore. I can't play the game. Do something.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Just make Loyalty work like it was before the newest patch

It is still possible to keep Admirals and General happy, but you have to care. It starts with choosing the right characters and the main difference to pre-1.4-gameplay is that no longer just a high Martial Arts stat counts here. It would be good if you post some pics of the character pages of your troublemakers, then it is easier to help you.

Some general advice:

1. Be wary to make any Family head a Military commander - they already have a hefty powerbase and it is usually not a good idea to increase it further - they are prime candidates to get angry for various reasons and prone to lead you staright into civil wars

2. OTOH, keep the families were the generals are from at least content. Or pick minor characters...

3. Pay attention to the special character traits; it is not uncommon that characters have 2 traits affecting loyalty - often that alone means either up to -10 or +10 extra loyalty

4. Look out for the national idea "Military Administration", which adds +10. Some techs and eventually laws might help as well

5. Unless he or she has really bad stats, consider making your ruler the / a main general

The new system is more challenging, but it does a lot good to the game.

Hello!

I'd recommend to open a thread in the main forums to get some advice on loyalty management with 1.4.
The bug report forums should only be used for actual bugs.
