Description of problem
Inconsistency in army food drain
What platform are you playing on?
Steam
What game version are you running?
1.3 Livy
Please select any/all DLC you have enabled.
Epirus flavor pack
Do you have mods enabled? No
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The food supply system has an inconsistent behaviour. Conditions in which I will describe the next steps are standard starting conditions of Rome in a new game.
1) Tool-tip is not correct. It is specified in the tooltip of the army that "If the army would take attrition, it would consume 2.2 amount of food/month". The starting army in Rome has a weight of 15. Supply limit in Rome is 74. Yet, the army eats the food. The army should not take attrition, hence not eat food. See Screen1 herewith attached.
2) It is not consistent with the tooltip. This leads also to the food being taken away from the provincial food. See Screen2 herewith attached.
3) The same army positioned on Antinum in Aternum, owned by Rome's vassal Marsia, does not consume food anymore, while it is under the supply limit. See Screen3 herewith attached.
4) Finally, the same army above the supply limit in a vassal's territory will eat carried food. See Screen4 herewith attached.
This leads to the strange behaviour that armies with full food carry capacity should be placed on allied territory, so that they will NOT eat food from owned provinces, and still NOT eat carried food.
Tool tip or food consumption when not taking attrituion should be corrected.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
