Epirus flavor pack

Do you have mods enabled? No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When the world map is loaded the seas seem visible until you zoom in a middle of the way through.
Changing graphics settings seem to have no effect on the problem and so is reloading the game.

System spec:

CPU: Intel Core I5 7500
Ram: 16 GB of ram
GPU: Geforce gtx 1060 6 GB with proprietary driver version 440.64
OS: Linux mint 19.1 Cinnamon

Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Load the world map
2. zoom in a bit

Some issue here. I tried uninstalling the game and deleted all files under the local files (except the screenshots). Then reinstalled fresh. And I still have drained oceans.
Hopefully we can get a hotfix for this. It is possible to play with it, but it's so annoying that it's close to being game breaking, imho.

Also, f11 might be broken, since the screenshot I took using f11 is the below and that's not much of a screenshot.

It is proper dirty and I take no responsibilities for equipment and so forth, and to devs: IANAL (I Am Not A Lawyer) but I think and hope this does not mess with an eula or anything.

I should have looked a bit more at it. A quick fix that works is replacing the new shaders with the old ones from 1.3.2. You could also change the shader-files as they are cleartext. But eh, no thanks.

I will look into what is actually happening with the shaders tomorrow and see if I can get trees and the other missing shaders back.

Just confirming this also affects Linux version of GOG.

As we don't have steam mods, I can confirm replacing the file pdxwater.shader from previous version makes it work.

Just reading the shader code, seems like in past they used "If not OSX { }" at some preprocessor flags, and now they just used "If Windows { }", likely breaking Linux.

Nah, it is more than that. If you just import terrain.fxh to the 1.3.2-pdxwater.shader it bugs out, if you change ifdef windows, to ifndef osx in the 1.4.1-files it also fails. But I did not want to dig too deep into this, encountered other things when I wanted the trees back, but I didn't look too deep.

Could've messed around with a proper editor instead of grepping around, and it might've been easier to get an overview, but it's ages since I messed around in c and wasn't too keen on looking too long.

I have a Mac and I installed I:R to take a look at the shader files.
The"if Windows" statements are also there, so probably they are correct somehow.
Anyway all the shader part is way too complicated for me.
Hope the Devs will take care of this issue.

BTW I'm curious to know the Linux build/configuration where they tested 1.4.x because It looks like a widespread bug, and is too easy to notice (just starting the game)

Yeah, I am still tempted to use some easter time seting up a better dev-environment to play around with stuff. Mostly I just sit in console on servers, so I don't have any proper dev-setup on any of my machines now. c++ will be new to me, but I'm quite ok with c, so it shouldn't be an issue. Hopefully I will be able to see woods again after being stuck in my apartment for far to long.

Also applied for being a beta-tester after seeing this, they might need more linux users. Hopefully more of you does that as well, you might be better testers than me :)
