Hellenistic world flavor pack,
Epirus flavor pack

Do you have mods enabled? No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When I try to start the game via Steam it won't start. I can't start it via binaries either.

I got this error when trying to start the imperator binaries:
/home/gaute/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/ImperatorRome/binaries/imperator: error while loading shared libraries: libc++abi.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have the same problem in ubuntu 18.04 - can't load libc++abi.so.1
looks like sudo apt-get install libc++-dev helps

Debian 10 here.

Can confirm the solution worked for me.

From terminal
sudo apt install libc++-dev
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

Run imperator.

Hi and welcome.

I edited another post, but wanted to put it here as well.

After getting Imperator working with the C++ libraries. I was experiencing a jolty/lag in camera panning and zooming, as well as moving windows around.

https://packages.debian.org/sid/libc++-dev
That website says the library I installed has "libc++-7-dev" as a dependency.
Installing that dependency fixed all hesitation and lag.

So obviously installing libc++-dev didn't install all the relevant dependencies.
For anyone who has the same camera problems. Same as above

Sudo apt install libc++-7-dev
Update and upgrade

Same problem on Ubuntu 18.04.2 (x64). Not running any betas - just the current Steam release.

Installing 'libc++-7-dev' seems to have fixed it for me.
