2nd game in a row when becoming a great power and inviting a family. It creates a new family of some exixting characters of that family. And new ones that have no last name, the entire family has no name in great family list.
In my egypt game i decided lets try it out. After a while i had a disloyal character, think it was my sisters son. He was of my dynasty but had switched to the no name family in color after awhile. And said he was head of a great family and scorned so he was disloyal. I checked the family list. He switched into the family with no name, but was not the head of the family.
So i saved and reloaded, now the disloyal son was again of my dynasty. But now i had a new disloyal head of family who was scorned, created out of thin air with no relatives and not anywhere in the great family list. With a bullshit powerbase that i cannot fix cus shes not part of a family, shes gonna start a civil war soon.
In my second game as rome, i became a greatpower as a dictator. Needed to create a new great family. It even had my consort as an option? Yeah, thats not gonna create any issues, im sure. So lets no pick that one
Again the new family has 3 characters that already existed with last names. Created new ones out of thin air, with no family name. And the great family again has no name.
Additionally, govenors have the great power -5 penalty twice and office holders have none. Which makes it really an issue if you give govenorship to heads of family as their powerbase will be way to hard to manage. I dont know if the penalty should be x2 or if its a bug, but it probably needs looking at anyway.
And why do people not vote on heirs when they are below the age of 12 when each of the are loyal? The succession support doesnt even show up on the childs character screen. In the government screen it will only show you as voting, everyone else voted for number 2, who was a woman leading my main legion. Who was not even eligable as heir according to my laws. As my dictatorship wasnt that long the family isnt that big yet, so for some reason all pretenders are generals from my legion. That should go really swell if none will/can vote for kids below the age of 12
