Description of problem
After Quitting Still "Running" on Steam

What platform are you playing on?
Steam

What game version are you running?
1.02-beta

Please select any/all DLC you have enabled.

Do you have mods enabled? No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Whenever I exit the game, it remains "running" on steam. Then, the next day, I cannot open it again without force quitting steam.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Open a game. "Quit to desktop". Enjoy.

Note that "imperator.exe" process (windows 10) won't quit.

We'd like to take a look at your system details. Could you please attach a DXdiag file for us?

Same issue in 1.0.3.
I have to go into my Task Manager and manually End Process Steam every time to close out Imperator completely.

However, unlike above mine does not say Imperator.exe. It is only Steam tasks I End Process to force Imperator to shut down.

Note, I do not have this issue with Stellaris of Total War Rome 2 run through Steam, so it seems to be an issue with how IR communicates with Steam, and not a completely steam issue.

The behaviour is not consistent. Last time I played with 1.0.3 I had to kill steam process, too. A moment ago IR just finished as it should. And in between there was neither new hardware nor software (nor mod) installed. Except the usual steam updates...

Other users have found a terrain editor process to be the issue. Not sure exactly what it is named or how it comes to be running, just passing that along
