So, I didn't actually intervene at all in any wars on the ground. I just built planes, fighters to be exact. I build a ton of fighters and guaranteed the Germans air superiority everywhere via 1940 and '44 fighters. The war went well enough 'til Jan 41 when Germany declared on the Soviets. I thought it was gg because I've played a lot of test games and always seen the Soviets roll ogre the Germans.

Except that didn't happen.

As you can see, the Germans rolled the Soviets pretty handedly.

Interesting experiment though its hard to get much from your screenshots other than Germany has done better than usual against the Soviets. I think both screenshots are identical as well. Would be helpful to see air superiority in regions or how many planes you built and have remaining. I believe this used to be a rather common MP strategy of having minor Axis powers just focus on building 1 type of unit like fighters to help Germany. I guess it does show the power of air superiority.

I managed to keep netherlands alive for a year when FRA and BEL both fell just by spamming the region with obnoxious amounts of CAS and FGT

I have a hard time understanding why the AI for example the UK, can have like more than 10k planes but you only see them use not even 2000 on the battlefield.
