I modified my User_empire_designs doc and now none of my custom civs populate new game menu

Hi folks.
So while trying to fix an issue with one of my empires having a different flag icon and colors after loading an existing game I managed to create an even bigger issue. I figured copying the flag code from another civ on top of the borked flag code within user_empire_designs would allow me to lock in the code for the flag and then let me edit it to something else within the game's customization menu. Instead all of my premade empires are sort of mashed together into one spot without a name. I have looked at my empires file and tried to figure out what went wrong.

I have uploaded my file to see if anyone can spot the problem with the syntax. I wish I could edit it in a CS terminal to have the errors highlighted.

Thank you guys for any help you might be able to provide, though the writing may be subpar I have spent quite a bit of time enjoying the empire-creation mechanic and it would really bum me out to have to remake all of my empires.

That is a damn big empire designs file. Pointers about what section of it you were trying to edit are going to be essential to find anything in there.

I wrote a quick python script to count the number of opening and closing curly brackets ("{" and "}", respectively), since that's usually what's wrong with these files, and it returned a unicode error when trying to read the file. I figured that error could be what stops the game from reading the file, so I did it 500 lines at a time and then narrowed it down to the disruptive character. It ended up being the Noble Kingdom of Áine, or specifically the Á. Removing that empire, or even replacing the Á with an A solved it.

For the record, I'm not enough of a 1337 h4xx0r to know how this works or what things mean. I just fiddle aimlessly.
