I miss the old game registration interface....

I missed the way the old game registration interface shows you clearly which games you have and have not registered. The new interface makes it so difficult to determine what games you have not registered.

Just now I realized I had 3 games I already purchased via Steam and could have registered on here but it took some time to figure that out.

It is nice though that we can finally just copy & paste the whole key into one text field though

I think all you need to do to make the new interface work for this regard again is to just filter the drop down of games to only show games you have NOT already registered. This should be simple to do because the page already has a list of all the games you currently own (via the big icons) so can't you filter those games out of the options available in the drop down?

That's a good suggestion. The old way wasn't so bad... as long as you owned most of the games ^^

I have to fully agree. Very good idea from Darkside how to solve it elegantly.

The new page is an improvement, dont get me wrong, i really like that you can copy and paste your key in now.
But it is far harder to see what you are missing, and if there is something new to register.

Another idea would be to show the missing registrations seperatly somehow,
below the registered ones or something like that.

Also the images need to be cared for, there are some images missing for the newer games.

We have been working on a redesign for a while. We have big plans for the page, but it is essentially a hack of the forum software and thus takes time and resources.

I think this new design is vastly superior to the old interface. The advantage stems from not having to enter the key in groups of four, which is a relict of boxed retail versions, where I read the key from my physical copy and have to type it. Nowadays, I suppose most people copy & paste the key from their digital distributor. Thanks for this improvement!

The new version is very nice, I especially like the copy&paste and the cover art. The ease of checking owned vs unowned games was a good feature that was sadly omitted though.

I hope to soon be able to implement an update so that titles you already own will no longer be visible in the dropdown list. I hope this will be an improvement.

It doesn't seem to work for me - for example, I still see CK2 on the list.
