how my king was wounded in battle, got ill two years later, phenmonia one year after that, and managed to convince half the court his death was unnatural lol xD...what do you guys love about this game so far?
Played William the Bastard. Conquered England, now trying to hold on...
Most fun? Imprisoning all those rebellious nobles, and stripping them of titles.
Shocking moments:
1) Realizing that my imprisonment of duke eadwin of lancaster led to morcar seizing all of lancaster for himself. That Saxon bastard now rules the entire north.
2) Checking how how my heir, Robert, is doing. Finding out that he is a wroth, slothful, gluttonous, greedy, deceitful craven. And excommunicated. OH SHIT!!
Brethren before wenches.I posted this in the release thread but I started a game as the count of Meath and had all sorts of issues at the start with plotters and conniving courtiers. Had one heir die when he was 8 and had a regent ruler for a long period but finally around 1130 I manage to get my Torfinn declared king of Ireland. An option pops up stating I can hold a grand tournament and naturally to celebrate my newfound kingdom I do so. Tournament starts and I get nice bonuses to my relationships with my vassals and after the end of the tournament my sonless king gets this announcement..

EDIT: Stupid photobucket. But anyway my king enjoyed the friendships between the knights so much he became a homosexual.
I love when people close your thread on this forum without any reason![]()

I did William the Bastard too. My Robert was an insanely good King. His brothers blackmailed William into changing succession to Gavelkind, and then war broke out when William died. Robert beat them all down and got the title Robert the Cruel, took all his nephews as wards, and turned the war-torn England of his father and made it stable and wealthy. And he was incredibly long-lived. I made it to 73 and had Prestige of nearly 3000. He also got excommunicated twice. I love how I end up getting a feel for the characters themselves. William was a warrior and a general. Robert put down a lot of rebellions, but he was just a hard man. He banished so many nobles.Checking how how my heir, Robert, is doing.
