Um... what exactly offends you about it?

And yes I too like the graphics.

I have to admit: this made me chuckle. ;)

Wouldn't mind a little more information on what you don't like and why at this early stage.

The graphics are indeed great.

Personal setting preference. Idc about ancient Rome or Greece. If there's substantial content for areas that aren't Rome or Greece I'll be a happy camper.

That is fair enough. Don't care much for the antiquity myself, though in that respect I look at this game more as an opportunity to gain a new interest.

It will be interesting to see in what way the game differentiates between the various "countries", peoples, or what have you. I strongly suspect that, like with EUIV and CKII, the initial release will offer some variety in mechanics for different cultures, religions, and government types, but leave something to be desired.

EDIT: And later to be adressed through DLCs. I have no problem with this policy in principle. Wouldn't count on every little barbaric tribe to be as fleshed out as the Romans, though.

That's the spirit !

EU and CK are not my fave periods but I play them because they are good games, esp EU.

I came to the forums today to say just this. I am in love with the UI. The marble aesthetic looks so clean and beautiful. I am really hoping that this doesn't change during development.
