Love the idea, love the originality, everything.
(NOT TROLLING, I'M SERIOUS)

I think that the amount of work put on that DLC could be maybe half a month or less? People who don't want to buy it just don't buy it. Paradox team cannot be obliged what to do or not by its fans. The Norse, Pagan, Dark Ages DLCs etc. will at some point delivered so there is no point on whining.
I want to support Paradox by this. Paradox, I and many others support this idea!

Personally I do find it strange that anyone would be interested in this. United Romans fighting off the Aztecs and Mongols in Poland who can call upon the holy orders, is just too bizarre for my liking (half of that is already possible though). Heck, why not throw in some samurai's in the fight (retinue?)? As a result this is the first DLC that I will not purchase myself.

Before anyone jumps the 'who cares' and 'butthurt' band wagon. I have to add, that I have no problem with this DLC. They said it didn't take too much time to develope, it is not compulsory and it holds no new features that would be missed from the original. Hence if it makes OP or anyone happy, then well done Paradox. However it's not my cup of tea...

Samurai's already have a cameo in the game.

I'll take issue with this: The Romans didn't rely on Feudal levies like western Europe, but even there it wasn't uncommon for the ruler to have a more elite force in employ. Just look at the Norse Hirðs. "The hirð was originally an informal retinue of personal armed companions, hirdmen or housecarls".

The training your Martial-stat events. They remove all ambiguity by adding "-san" to his speech-patterns, which I feel is a mistake. Better to leave it up to the imagination than to make it clear it's the least likely option for an eastern trainer. Subtlety is a thing, people.
