i´ll never switch to counter-catholicism again!

in my current game as portugal i did that for gaining the extra-settler without losing stability. i had enough money so i didn´t care about that. now i need money and the extra tolerance bar is a dorn in my eye. plus i haven´t the option to vassalize venice (it´s catholic) though i think i should be able to (i´ve vast lands in italy/austria, a relation of 200, i´m in the same alliance and venice is no vassal of another country) - must be a religious reason.....

the sad part of this story: i can´t swich to any other religion (even after decades). cc sucks!

Ah! Johan already fixed a bug where You were hated by Catholics after conversion to counterreformed. But indeed one should also still be able to vassalize catholic nations. I think I will put this on the 'bugs list'.

i dunno why, but now i´m able to vassalize venice - i see no difference to the situation 15 years ago except for a better diplo-monarch.....

and i still can´t switch back to catholicism, this sucks..

Yes, u have to take in account u can't change back from counter reformed catholicism but for some countries (like Austria) it's still by far my preferred state religion). U will get a lot of revolts for religious reasons if u expand a bit into Europe but u need the settlers to get some sort of colonial empire of the ground.
