Safe Alpine Villages
I recently had a request in the Steam forum for a particular scenario with no disasters. The scenario was the default Alpine Villages.
So, here is the Safe Alpine Villages scenario with all disasters and disaster triggers removed ;)

Diamond Crater V2
So... while I was in map editing mode, I decided to revisit an old one.
I'm afraid it has to be said that whoever it was at CO that originally created their default maps, didn't do them very well. They did not take into account the problems that are caused by linking multiple outside connections. These must be independent routes to avoid overspawning and inefficient loads per vehicle spawned. I have corrected this by breaking the links and leaving them open ended. This will allow anyone who uses the map to connect a single terminal to the routes and enjoy an optimised line.
Here is Diamond Crater V2, which is an edited version of the Diamond Coast default map. It is called crater because I have removed the water spawner from the lake and that will evapourate over time to leave a dry crater ;)

Have to agree, the default maps leave a lot to be desired. I especially despise the ridiculous amount of rocks and broken trees scattered everywhere- adds nothing to the map but a real pain in the A to remove them

Nice job. I'm finding the MOM a bit tricky to get used to- need to place stations carefully as the tunnels are often snapping to roads nearby and of course tunnels becoming exposed near the surface- a new challenge! I also find that I'm having to place lots of depots. Also difficulties in creating metro lines as path isn't recognised in many cases. Practice makes perfect!

Lol you must have had fun with that one! I'm almost tempted to snag it, just to see if you hid away any cryptic message amidst the graffiti ;)
Merry xmas matey!
Thanks! I actually put Lazarusman, one of the leading creators of MOM on the front door. He's also a key maker of Network Extensions project.

Thank you too. Why do you need so many depot buildings? I'm using only one for the whole map. I built a train yard and have tracks connected to all metro lines. Remember you can set the underground station lengths too.

Yes getting the hang of strategically placing depot- previously I was retro engineering the metro to incorporate MOM- wasn't my best idea!

Grand Pier from Weston-super-Mare (UK)
This asset uses the built in sub buildings and will download in one file.
It is made up from 4 parts.

The Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare it is a pleasure pier sitting on the Bristol Channel and is 400 metres (1,300 ft) long.

The original Grand Pier was built in 1904, but has been destroyed by Fire Twice, once in 1930 and again in 2008.

I have recreated the latest modern version completed in 2010 at a cost of £39,000,000 my model is just under the 400 mtrs length.
