Yes! One square is 8 square metres, according to the wiki. And one blender unit is 1 centimetre in this engine, so when you export remember to scale it by 800 for 1:1 scaling with this game.
Hmm, I use 1 square in blender as 1 meter, so one square in the game= 8 squares in blender. And then I scale it by 100 in export settings.

ooks like it can be scaled up some. Its squished compared to the other shops. Look at the height of the storefronts. It's a very nice building though.
Do you mean its too "thin", or overall too small? Because I did want to make it "thin", thats how many japanese buildings looks like, sometimes there is literally just a door and a small window, like here: https://www.google.nl/maps/@35.7250...ata=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sUxB5l9vsPMTTdIpY42ukxA!2e0
I was trying to make it look like that. Not saying my scale is perfect though, because its far from it (still trying to get it right :D).

No he says it's too low... And yes it is a bit, because small CO buildings are a bit too high.

Just released a new Level 4 4x4 residence :

The River Residence : http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/30379-river-residence-4x4-high-residential-lvl4/

1570 tris, custom LOD and LOD textures, taylored to fit well into the existing buildings. 4 color variations (when CO fixes the fact that they don't work at the moment... two working right now.).

Still only available at simtropolis as long as I haven't figured out why the steam workshop upload does not want to work for me

Zed68 I like your buildings because they are good and there are not a lot of good tall assets

Thanks, that's very kind !!!

I try to make things that fit well in the game. The tower and the residence are both at the same average heighth most of CO buildings are... and I try to make them look good when you look from far away too (Lods, builders, work on your lods. If your buildings look like a pile of poo from far away it's not very appealing).

Anyway... With the 1.07c beta I can finally upload to the steam workshop.

The Phoenix Tower : Yeaaaaah

The River Residence : Yeaaaah again

Wow !!! Looks like people prefer using their own release topics... I might make one but still this topic exists... so...

My villa can be downloaded from the Simtropolis Stex

ICI

Or installed from the steam workshop

ICI

It's a level3 low residential modern villa, based on real architect plans. It stands on a 3x4 lot.
It has a custom LOD with custom textures, it will come in four roof colors (when CO will have the color variations fixed).

I'm loving the immense wealth of custom modded content coming out for this game - and all after just one month!

I've been hard at work myself, the first thing I've created is this Modular Power Station:

2048x1152.resizedimage

Here you can see I've laid out typical, realistic, life-size coal fired power station, built using working in-game assets. Everything is separate and moveable - the furnace, the turbine halls, the cooling towers and the coal heaps... And their stats are adjusted to mirror real-life concerns (within the limits of the game engine!) - for example, the coal furnace produces waste ash, and the turbine and cooling towers both require water (to produce steam).

I'm really proud of this, it's a week's work (in my spare time!) and my first ever mod(s) for the game. I hope there's more to come! The project isn't finished either. I plan to add a nuclear reactor (to replace the coal-burning elements); a coal train delivery yard; some slag heaps and ponds, etc... Perhaps others will also create some Modular Power Station assets?

If you want to play around, you can grab the whole Modular Power Station collection at:
