This seduction focus needs nerfing.

Seriously, there has NEVER been a game since I bought WoL where my character's wife hasn't banged 2/3 of my realmed. I execute them of course, but the new wives do the same. Out of 10, 8 of my character's children are always bastards from a random duke.

Even the Pope is unfaithful! Who am I going to ask for divorce then, when the Pope himself has 3 kids?!

Checking your wife repeatedly is not an issue, but it is useless because she may have lots of lovers and might be pregnant, but your character doesn't know about it, and everything will seem completely normal.

She gets found out only when the bastard is born already.

problem is that under lover you have listet chars which contniue thir affair, not "one hit affairs" even if same persons keep educing each other manytimes but oficialy never become lovers.

I don't think Chaste trait has any affect on this unless you use a mod. It should stop them from being seduced, but it doesn't.

The interface wouldn't show one night stands (the "Veni Vedi Vici" option when seduction succeeds).

Chaste persons are not pervious to seduction, just a tad more difficult and so much more enjoyable.

I used the charinfo command, just to check it, as I hadn't come across it before. But the dna result is mumbojumbo. How do I make it make sense?

Anyway, I recently got WoL, just playing my first game with it and the bastard children madness isn't such a huge issue after all. I didn't encounter the problem with anti-pope bastards at all (allthough there is an iberian anti-pope, but that isn't due to the bastard claims situation, Castile did it) and only few characters pick the seduction focus. I was a little bit affraid that everyone will be screwing everyone with WoL on, but that is far from true.

P.s. Does anyone remember before WoL when you'd get that little message, wife is preggo - "but I was away wasn't I??" Honestly preferred that. After way of life I just assume she's cuckolded me, so instead I just legit my bastards now, because I know their mine.

But can you really be sure 'your' bastards are really yours. Maybe your lover have a secret lover you don´t know about

Perhaps the issue is simply the fact that seduction is out of hand in the Way of Life DLC. If the 2.3.3 thread is any indication, it's not likely to receive fixes anytime soon. In that case, you're left with two options: deal with it or disable WoL for your next game.
