Hi Moo
I have contacted CO via Email a week ago, maybe 2 weeks. Can't remember. Haven't gotten a reply yet![]()
I don't think you have to contact CO, try this link instead: https://www.paradoxplaza.com/support

As other users have mentioned it's most likely an issue with your computer using its intergrated GPU instead of the dedicated one, as with your specs the game should run silky smooth.
Have you been in touch with our support dept?
Search for the Unity folder. Now I cant find the player log that I have to send to Paradox![]()
Can you be more precise than "unplayable" and "lags like crazy"? I'm running the game on a basic 2012 MBP with 4 gigs of RAM and no dedicated graphics card. While I'm averaging around 12 fps, I wasn't expecting any better and wouldn't call it unplayable. I'm wondering if the game isn't running as well as you'd expected (like on your Windows partition), or if it's actually unplayable.I own a iMac from 2013 - it's a 8 GB, quad core with a Geforce GTX680M.. And the game is unplayable. It lags like crazy!
No, that one's a lot more detailed and can easily be found with Finder, open a Finder window and press shift+cmd+G, then paste "~/Library/Logs/Unity" without the quotation marks and press enter.I will try and upload that file when I get home. Is that instead of the playerlog some people talk about?

I remember reading once that Apple only allow for either integrated or auto-switching on their Desktop Macs. I think Apple trying to maintain a Business use slant with their Desktops and don't seem to encourage gaming. To be honest I'm surprised they allow games to run on their machines at all!!
Because Apple Users (rightly or wrongly) only make up a small percentage of computer users there is a lot less customised support available. Linux does a lot better better despite also being a minority OS because it is free and so is so much of it's software.
8GB of RAM may struggle on a Mac if the graphics card is sharing the system RAM as is often the case in Apple computers.
I can't seem to fins any option in my system preferences that can even allow my iMac to set anything for graphics cards. Neither can I do it on my 2014 MacBook Pro-r, but that doesn't have a discrete GPU.
And I don't agree that Apple Users only make up a small percentage of computer users. Yes, Windows is far more used, but OS X takes around 10% of sales, that's still a lot of consumers that can generate income for a company and that deserves support.
Thats quite allright - with more than 1 million plays, there's bound to be an influx of messagesHi,
I think I answered your email last night. Please send us your log from ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to answer. The Colossal company mailbox has exploded with gazillion messages :<
I hope we can get this resolved for you and I truly appreciate your patience.
On Steam, Mac and Linux users combined is about 4.5% and Steam users are that is the audience that will potentially buy CSL. ANd those seem to generate over 50% of the issues I've seen.
But, yes I still agree you deserve support.
Is there an iMac forum that can help you with your graphic card settings?
