...you spend hours playing as a country like USA, waste alot of hours to watch nothing happening. Its mid 1939....Spanish Civil War in a deadlock for last year and a half with no changes of borders...Germany has done nothing....no anshlaus or no allies....Japan is not at war with China....don't see a point to continue if the war will not start.

Perhaps the game should be made that way, that when playing another country than Germany or Japan, these countries will with 100% certainty start ww2, 100% chance of anschlus, 100% chance of Japan dow'ing China etc. Not that it should happen on exactly the same time and in the same way as according to history, (could be fun to declare war on germany because of Czechoslovakia) but you're absolutely right, it's lame playing a ww2 game without ww2 happening, Japan and Germany should sooner or later attack.

Maybe he doesnt know you can alter the game speed.

I know about speed changes, but I don't have a clear path of what I want to do next and I like to read all the messages and list of events, so a fast speed makes me miss things.

I am now reading the AAR "Germany, 1936: Cabals from the Meuse to the Memel" that basically says the anschlass will not be triggered normally if Japan does not goto war with China because the pact of steel will not fire, if so I have a hard time with this chain of events since I don't think Germany's and Japan's actions and events should be so tied together this early in the game, and with such a long chain, with chances of each link not firing because the prereqs are not met, it makes certain nations a pain to play.
