For me, the bigger problem with this DLC (apart from the fact that the Aztecs didn't even get established in Central America by the XVth century), is that it deals a massive prestige blow to CK2.
I mean, until now I could talk to it to people as being a serious attempt at recreating the medieval world (skirting the fantasy Empires that have been added and the balance issues, that is...), but now, any serious people who heard about the game will just say "that Civ-like game that has Aztecs invading Europe in the Middle Ages?" and move off laughing.
And odds are, they'll laugh at me for playing such a game  . This blemishes CK2 an awful lot.
You, apparently, haven't ever played EU1 or HoI2: Armageddon.
