Sorry, what's the mistake with the terrain? Is it that plains terrain has no unit modifiers? Because it isn't supposed to have any.
Isn't plains meant to give horse archers an offensive/defensive bonus, at least.
Not sure about other unit types.
Correct, I was getting mixed up with the "flat terrain commander" trait that gives bonuses on steppes, plains and farmlands.
Plains isn't mentioned in the combat terrain part of the wiki so there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the terrain screenshots.
EDIT: to be clear, plains is meant to, by default, offer no bonuses to either army in a battle. There is no bug here.
That isn't forest terrain in your screenshot. It's plains terrain. Plains terrain doesn't have any modifiers to display.
