Took me forever to finally get a good france going, but everything laid in place properly. I WOULD have went for a world conquest run this game, but I made a mistake in letting America build up to 1946, so their land was a unbreakable fortress despite my Space Marines, 14-4 and overwhelming air force.

Everything went right this game. Britain didn't decolonize and they went democratic. Hungary formed the pact of rome, inviting Italy and Austria which gave me -MASSIVE- reprieves from fearing Germany, since they couldn't defeat the pact until late 1939. When they went for Czech, they were unprepared for my tanks and men to storm them. Was like a 3 month war and boom, Germany was mine.

Then I ran into the stupidity of actually pressing the Disunute Germany focus... That screwed up my supply lines and everything. Ugh.

but yea, I did it! I got several of the achs.

I got the survive to 1948 ach((okay im about to from this pic.)) I got the 150 destryoers one, I got the napoleon goes to moscow. Woot!

Very nice. :) The 150 DD's achievement seems pretty tough, did you spam early hull destroyer escorts or real warships, and did you build or conquer your shipyards?

Invade Central America, and go from there. Usually this drags most of US army into fight, allowing you to grind it down, and eventual invasion goes much easier.

Nice one.
I got both the capture Moscow as napoleon achievement and the reach 1948 as France last weekend. Took a bunch of attempts, it was getting past Germany that was the problem.
Luckily Italy (who didn't ally with Germany) was taken out when Yugoslavia joined the allies, so that helped. And the allies eventually joined the war against Germany later on, opening a third front.

I tend to try and take USA out by 1940-1 while they are still relatively weak. Maybe even 1939 if I can manage the war against the Allies soon enough. This is assuming im talking about Germany of course. I could have done it if i didn't disunite Germany and mess myself up. NEVER take the Disunite Germany focus. Never. Ever. It's horrible looking.

But yea, I actually had half of mexico and built up infrastructure, but 40W's have terrible supply over in the Americas so I ended up losing. I should have stuck with 7-2's when I finished up with Europe, but oops.
