Don't buy it, unless you want to encourage Paradox to waste more time on silly DLCs.
ok, i bought it!

The whole thing it's more something like
"Hey I don't really like ice creams, should I buy an ice cream? I don't want ice creams though because I dislike them"
Actually, you can buy the DLC and then tick it off in the launcher box, so you are sure it won't be used in your game.
Then just turn on the paradox data tracking (Help us improve ...) for your CK2, so you deliver them the message "I don't want ..." each time you run the game.
Bear in mind that as soon as you make your first decision as a character, you have entered the realm of experimental alternate history. Given that in reality the Aztecs didn't have a chance once the Europeans landed, it is interesting to consider how well the Europeans would have handled the reverse. I suspect that paralleling history, the Aztec plague will play a huge role; however when things get 'conflicted' you still have stone age weapons confronting iron age weapons.
There are other DLCs I would prefer first, but as long as Paradox didn't divert a lot of their resources from what I want more, I was happy to send $5.00 to them for a bit of fun and to keep them in Swedish meatballs and reindeer steaks as they slave over more important code.
If you don't plan on playing with the Sunset Invasion events, then there's no need for you to buy it. I'd rather save my money on an upcoming Pagan or Republic DLC instead.
People have different definitions of fun, and for people like me, fun in CK is creating a realistic alternative history without having to worry about threats that were as prominent as ancient aliens. I think people are mad because of the assumption that Paradox paid more attention to Sunset Invasion over other things such as a Pagan DLC. I don't really mind, since none of us players can decide on their work schedule. I just find the complaints off-hand for content that is pretty much optional.
I mean, if there were some mods out there that used the Aztec stuff to say create a Mesoamerican Scenario (or just allow more interesting faces or something) then it might be worthwhile, but I don't know if anything like that exists.
I dont see how sticks and stones weapon can fare against chain, lamelar and plate armors..

Fun is just a pointless buzzword when people can't really explain why something is good. You didn't really find it fun - you just think that you did.

Shut up or they'll release a DLC with playable potatoes before we get playable pagans! Are you telling me that we're THREE DLCs away from playable Potatoes!? Damn you Paradox!
