Apologies if they don't and I'm assuming wrong, but seeing a requirement for 1000 research on the slowest game speed makes me think they do.
Given the unchanged turn requirement of 10 on NPC faction quests, I'm wondering if this is an oversight and these quests just unintentionally got caught in the blanket research requirement increase. Regardless, it feels too difficult in comparison to other quests like the production ones, and that's within a landmarkless game with limited specialization.
