Okay, so after a lot of hitches and hurdles I finished my Roman Empire playthrough, and I want to continue it in EU4 (and after that, either Vic2 or Stellaris, depending on how much I've conquered the world by then). So I export the file.
And I really don't get the results. I don't know if it's about BUGS per se, that seems to be okay (though i'm overwhelmed about the countless features since the last time I played, which was with the release version...). But it's more about the, well, weird results...
I have "local autonomy" all over the place, without a lot of meaning behind the distribution (my direct demesne has 75 % in Athens, 0 % in Constantinople, 25 % in Rome ; I have some ancient vassals demesne with low autonomy, other with high, well it's a mess).
I have Mediolanum, which at 11 base tax and 32 development, while Constantinople lags behind with 9 bt and 23 dev, despite the latter having more holdings (6 vs 5) and having both about the same number of improvement built (in fact, probably a bit more in Constantinople).
I also have no idea why there is a castle or an estate in such or such province, so I don't know if it's fitting, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
So basically... how does this converter work ? I've looked on the Net, but it's really flimsy and makes only extremely general statements.
