My game stutters, there is lag. Even at the main menu, and when I hit single player, thee is signs of things not working right, it skips, instead o f the gradual zooming. You know what I'm talking about. What do I do?

I'm running the game with a GeForce GT 555M, and it used to run about as poorly as you describe. Updating to the latest graphics driver (v314.22 with nVidia GeForce Experience) has improved my experience immensely. If you haven't updated to the latest driver version then I strongly suggest you do so.

I looked on the net, and managed my driver, had it run to see if there were updates, and when I tried to update with the update you provided: v314.22. None of that worked. My computer told me it's up to date, and that update failed to work. So I don't know what's going on. Things used to be fine until, I think the 1.9 patch or something. I have 1445 hours in this game, I love it, and I want to keep playing it.

You accidently linked to the wrong driver. It wasnt the M version.

I'd say do it the old fashioned way. Deinstall the driver, reboot, run your geforce driver file.
But thats just what i would do, so.., better wait for what AndrewT says.
