....one thing I always liked in Civ is that you have a "Hall of Fame" and get a rating or title which is saved at the end of the game. Wouldn't it be nice to have something similar in Eu3? The statistics in Eu2 aren't bad, but they aren't saved, and I'm thinking about a bit more than only numbers and highscores.....

I would like to see this too, the screen at the end of Victoria is quite good as an example of an end-game rating screen, but something to save your scores would be a nice addition.
No idea what the criteria for a high score should be, however... until we learn more of the game mechanics.

Seconded. It takes away from the sense of accomplishment when you exit the game and know that every visual or data memory is gone. Of course you can take screenshots, but that's something different. It's over-nice to have evaluation screens, which you can even use to compare different games.

Civ-style is fine. But Paradox could surely come up with something unique.

I absolutely agree to this. It would give a better sense of accomplishment than the current VP screen, and I'd probably play more games to the end that way too

I really like the progress map in Civ, something like that would be neat in EUIII, to better show how you've expanded over the years. And off course stats of all units built and lost, money earned, etc etc...

We once played a game of 1835 with just one rule change: first person to go bankrupt wins. If your suggestion were adopted, I could definitely see myself trying my damndest to lose.

In college our game club had a special Red Deck, with pictures of naked women on each. It made for some interesting choices: Do I win the trick or do I keep that ace in my hand a little longer?

But to keep this on topic, a movie of the game like in Civ would involve an awful lot of disk space.

It was cool, but I wish it was more "stylistic" or "artistic". Diverging from "cartoony" graphics will do wonders for atmosphere.

Halfway OT, but I just remembered the old EU1 end movie. Anyone remember it? Not that good perhaps, but I remember it was very cool when I first saw it.
