I can't rename cities :(

I want to change this city's name that I started with but the game won't let me even when I open city options and click on city's name. It does nothing. AOW3 let me but why is this not allowed in aowlanetfall? Please change this so i can rename this city to suit my ego >< I cannot create the empire in my image if it won't let me rename cities.

You can rename a city by going to the last tab in the city overview screen. There's a button there specifically for this.

Is there any way to rename sectors as well? Something that's really been bugging me is when I bribe a settlement to join me and choose to move the city to another sector, the original one gets renamed "Settlement", so I can end up with two or three such sectors sharing the same name.

I did notice that too. I think it needs dev attention.
