Hello there. With an army of mercenaries, I looted a province and an event added 2 light infantry units in the mercs army.

I can not disband it because when I click on the dismiss button, it says there are non mercs units in the army. An idea on how to disband it ? Except trying to get it stack-whipped... Thanks :)

No idea. You're doomed. Time to give up this game and start anew.

You should report this as a bug.

I'm assuming the create new army button is grayed out, and you can't just move the light infantry into their own army?

If you have access to uninhabitable terrain, just march them into it and let them starve to death - eventually you can disband what is left.

Otherwise stick them on a fleet and keep splitting the fleet in half. The primary fleet only keeps as many units as it can hold, sot you eventually get down to 1 ship with one cohort. Then you can disband it even suicide it into pirates.

If you can't do either then I'm not sure what can be done.

Wipe them out. It's the only way.
I think there's no need to report because that'w already done and at least 1 dev commented on the issue, so they're aware

Can you create a new unit with just the raised units and then disband them both?
