Look guys.

Let me point this out again.

There are currently three quick access buttons in the bottom right hand section of the screen (where that known world map is). We all know they access the Regular (playing) map, the Political map and the Production map.

Why is there not a quick access button for a Religion map?

As it is I have to access that screen either by bringing up my Monarch details or going into one of my provinces. It really is quite maddening. PLEASE add that button. PLEASE. It can't be that much work. Here we are on week 36 of the screen shots and something that simple hasn't been done yet.

ALSO.

When I DO go to the Religion map I find within the marking for the borders for the HRE. SInce HRE is primarily a political function... why aren't those markings found on the Political map?

Please fix that as well.

I know some members of this board have an encyclopeadic knowledge of the game... I don't. The easier you make it for me to play physically - the happier I am. The game is already challenging enough mentally.

Buttons and borders - that's all I ask.

Please?

It has already been fixed in EU2, the missionary icon will send you to religion screen. And I believe that the HRE border was put into the religion map to not put much stuff in the regular one, something I agree to, since the HRE borders aren't very important to the gameplay.

The missionary icon...

...would be that funny guy with the collar around his neck? If so, then my apologies to Paradox as I did not spot that.

As far as the HRE borders go - definitely NOT on the regular map. BUT it should be on the political map (accessed via the crossed flags icon). I'll stand by that one.

The color designs for the countries would make the border too hard to spot, so it is on the religion map, which doesn't have a different color for each country.

I can and cannot...

...see your point. I will maintain that the political map should have HRE markings on it - either borders or symbols.

Thanks for the feedback though - appreciated.

I would continue standing on my pinhead but there are too many stinking angels there now as it is...

Minor point - they are on the left hand side.

O.K. now that's out of the way.

The cleric guy is in the line with the Diplomacy button, Settlers button an CoT button - not on the line with the different map icons. So one would assume that the cleric icon is for sending clerics and not for switching to a religion map.

Why not both? Clicking the diplomacy button is for sending diplomats, but it also switches to a relations map. CoT button is for sending merchants, and it also switches to a trade map.

That's what I think. Also the guy appears in the upper side, and those icons also work as shortcuts to their related maps, or am I wrong?

i would assume so, as that was actually always helpful, at least for me.And it owuld also make sense, since it is a missionary. Missionary and religion go hand in hand, no? And that would be excellent, imho. Then it would be easier to find the naughty, naughty heretics in your land, and smite them with the wrath of God and stuff:D

Yes, it may just work like that. I didn't remember that those upper icons did that. It is amazing how you get so used to things happening that you don't even realize it.:)
