I knew I was going to buy EU4 sooner or later, but I was highly disappointed with EU3 at its launch and thus weary of buying EU4 at an early stage. Wait for a couple of expansions and such.

However, now that I have played the demo for more than 12 hours, I've preordered the game, the first game ever that I have preordered.

As game demos become rarer and rarer (and for good reason: research has shown that for most games demos are bad for sales), I would like to applaud Paradox for releasing the EU4 demo. With all the nagging about the demo and especially the hacking of it, Paradox should know that at least someone appreciates the demo and the guts to take the risk that comes with it.
