This would be really awesome. Especially the casualties in past wars and provinces per nation and its historical trend; maybe interactive with the ability to just see France, Castille, and say, the Golden Horde's growth over the years (since seeing a pie chart with 300+ nations would be kind of insane). These stats would also make AARs a bit more detailed. I can see it now "And despite my glorious conquest of the Maya as the Aztec... it appears Manchu has Westernized."

Isn't max manpower already in the ledger (on the countries page)?

yes but this is max manpower with all modifiers, from ideas to temporary events/ideas/stuff - as I said, it would be nice to know about base manpower of nations to see how populated they are basically ;)

even better: base manpower of nations after also excluding military buildings.
