Unsure if this is WAD or a bug.

Am the Abbadid empire and have grown quite large (as in stupidly large all of Europe is under my control and I have a dozen or so Sultan vassals). Either I have noticed that I am causing decadance, I wouldnt think this was possible? I was completely ok till due to major slowdowns I decided to give out all but two of my Sultanates. This seems a little bit bizarre really.
