I almost started to cry...

After a hards days work I settled down to continue my quest for greater glory. My last saved game was 1619 (GC- v1.03). Playing as Sweden my Kingdom was great and well prepared for the warrior kings to further expand. BUT I WAS NOT ABLE TO LOAD MY SAVED GAME! When clicking on the saved game I was at once kicked out to Windows. Tried about a million times with the same result. Tried to start a new scenario (worked fine) and load from "within the game" with the same dissapointing result - kicked out to Windows. I'm prepared to offer Skåne, Karelia and Gotland to any friendly soul that helps me out of my misery.....

This is a known problem being fixed in 1.04, which is due out soon. In the meantime, your saved game is not lost. Simply edit the savegame file and make only your country selectable, instead of all.

You'll see something like this:

What you need to do is make it look like this:

Well, it might be cheaper to look at the sticky thread in the bug forum that tells how to solve this little problem. Basically, just open up your save game file and delete all the entries on the "selectable=" line (about six down from the top). THe duplicates are crashing the save game file. Once they are removed (easier to remove all but your country than pick through, though), the game loads fine. If you need more help, its available in that thread.
