Hype for the game

8 without mods. Seeing as how some of the best mod developers have had the game for months already, im expecting my hype to go up once i start seeing stuff pop up on the workshop.

Well I’m certainly buzzing now. Due to all this lockdown stuff in the UK for the past months I’ve been working from home and kinda stressing myself out over the workload.
my manager suggested I put a holiday in for this month, and we agreed for the start of September. This game has gave me a goal to push on until my1 week holiday now! 1full week of crusader kings? Count me in.

I'm so hyped that I took all the release week as holidays
I need to clear my leave allocation for last year as well as accumulated time off as our HR is using a new system next year. Hopefully, I can take at least 2 weeks after release date.

The new Hook and Dread systems are everything I've wanted for an evil game, and the change from pure RNG schemeing to clear, progress based schemes is something I've always wanted. The only thing missing is a Ruler Designer at launch, knocking me down from 10 to 9.

Is Crusader Kings 3 really being released?
I look on steam and the banner says Crusader Kings 3 and then underneath that it says “Coming 1st September”.
Then directly under that it says “This game will unlock in approximately 3 weeks”
Surely this cannot be right? That’s my hype...
Its CK3, it’s instabuy and this game just cannot suck... Its impossible for it to suck.

I am hyped for it. Very hyped, I am looking forward to so many features new, old and overworked. I know there will be some bugs and some design choices where I am not that thrilled (like the years played instead of ruled by the death screen) but I am confident that it will be a great experience none the less. Especially that they have decided to go for the RPG-focus of the game, which I adore.
I of course can understand those who are sceptical and have doubts in this too and won't try to convince you otherwise.

Super hyped for this to drop, 10/10, I've literally just spent the last 6 months saving for a new pc just to run this game

Haha when it gets here gotta be dispatched first, should have it a week before release, I'm so just counting the days now

Very hyped! I find it hard to put a number on it though because if I have to get down to it I'm not as hyped for CK3 release as I am for TW: Warhammer 3 or Hollow knight: Silksong but a lot of that comes down to how little info there is on those games but also that CK3 doesn't seem to be this massive new upgrade or expansion on CK2 but a rehaul / upgrade. So while I'm super excited to see if the "new" systems improve the base experience it's not as exciting and novel as something much fresher.
So part of me is 10/10 because I just want to experience it all together with the graphics, sounds and new systems and all signs in the DD's appealed to me (only one I didn't like was the first limited individual vassal contracts but that was changed). Part of me is 8/10 because it's just an upgrade to a beloved game and will need a slow burn of content to become exceptional and unique and part of me is 4/10 because I think it's very possible for the game to have bugs on release, not be as deep as CK2 due to lacking the sheer breadth of content and possibly lack of balance and part of me is 0/10 because being hyped before the quality of the game is confirmed can hurt a lot and I'd rather save my hype for when I actually get to play it. Also slightly annoyed that there's so many great games coming out around this time.
So TL;DR I'd put a 8.2/10 which if you read my ramble is a mix of pure hype and pragmatic caution and restraint.
