If you had to choose a 1/10 number on the hype you have for the game, What would it be? Why?
I do this thread because I am interested in knowing the opinion of the users
7/10.
Can't play paradox games atm. EU4 is too much grand strategy, Impirator is too much RPG and CK2 is... Well. It´s not CK3!
And I am still thrilled and exploring another most wanted Medivial RPG launched earlier this year - Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord.
Given the fact that the game has been playtested for months (if not years) by the developers and betas, I strongly suspect that this inheritance bug is exceedingly rare. And don't be worried; the first few patches after release are always bugfixes.I am hyped for CK III and I have already pre-ordered the Royal Edition. But i have concerns about the game.
Gamebreaking inheritance bug. I want to believe developers, that they will post launch fix the bug... But when? I will not start seriously play the game, until they fix it. It disturbs me.
I was Okay with CK II naval system... And now what will it be?
And ofcourse i want to see in the game republics, nomads, China (it would be interesting to see closed to other world China, Korea and Japan) and other stuff.
It makes me sad, that they of all the map decided to cut the provinces in Russian territory. Why do i need so much african provinces in CK? I don't understand it. It was the wildest, undiscovered territories until modern times.
There was a journalist, who wrote about "strange inheritance" in CK III... so I don't think that it is a rare bug. But I hope that developers will fix it fast.Given the fact that the game has been playtested for months (if not years) by the developers and betas, I strongly suspect that this inheritance bug is exceedingly rare. It's probably rare. But it could also have been introduced in the current build, all bugs aren't present from day 1 after all.Given the fact that the game has been playtested for months (if not years) by the developers and betas, I strongly suspect that this inheritance bug is exceedingly rare. For me it will be hard to go back to Crown Authority. A few months before Conclave came along, I actually quit playing CK2 - all blame to the dumb Crown Authority law. Conclave completely saved CK2 to me, in this aspect. I realize CK3 CA is different to CK2 CA but just the words makes me see black. I hope I can overcome it![]()
Considering I've spoken to people who think that "standard" inheritance is brothers over sons, a journalist seeing "strange" inheritances doesn't surprise me.There was a journalist, who wrote about "strange inheritance" in CK III... so I don't think that it is a rare bug. 5/10 currently, have 9/10 before DD with new battle system.
6/10.
I really want to look around, see what's new, and get a good look at the history files.
But then I'll probably wait for mods, and/or feel like going back to CK2 because there's so many achievements I haven't gotten yet... And the price tag feels really high when I just want to "look around". I'll either: buy it at the first sale; buy it when they announce a really cool expansion; buy it if this forum explodes about how awesome the game is; or buy it in a moment of weakness on September 2 and regret having spent that much money even though I'm having fun because I told myself I wasn't going to.
(That last option is by far the most likely.)
