Hungary versus Bohemia

Been thinking about the personal union thing between Hungary and Bohemia during the Jagiellon monarchs... wouldnt Hungary make a more natural senior member in that union, considering it is the centerpiece of all relations in the region, with a union with Croatia and vassalage of Transylvania.

Also, the main 'thing' in that era happened on the Hungarian border, the 'thing' being the fight against the Ottoman incursion, and Louis II died leading the Hungarian army, not the Bohemian one.

There was no heir or claim to the throne that was accepted by all nobles in Hungary at the time. They rather chose a foreigner and gave him the crown. Not too smart, was it?

Practically speaking, during its independence Bohemia was always more important than Hungary. It was far richer(its silver mines alone produces more tax revenue than all of Hungary), had a more strategic position, and, not lastly, wasn't directly threatened by Ottomans . Oh yes, and Jagiellons were Bohemia's kings before they were Hungary's .

How could someone consider having aggressive Ottoman empire at the borders a plus I fail to see

Duties and stuff, Bohemia was cute and cuddly, but the Hungarian frontier was the place for heroes. If Bohemia had been the hub, then why did not the boy king hide in Prague while the real men fought at the Danube?

Well this is a limited scenario thing, post-corvinus, pre-habsburg, thus start dates between 1490 and 1526. Bratislava > Prague, at least when it comes to diplomacy and warfare within the timeframe.

Haven't the Jagiellonian kings resided in Hungary?
That would make Bohemia a junior partner in a personal union.
