Considering that you start with 4+ WE, a terrible strategic situation and have the war of the roses ahead, I find it quite risky to continue the 100 years war.
I have managed to win it a few times, but as it is now, I think giving up two provinces is a much better choise. In the end, you only need to hold Calais until you have the march - that is more then enough to meddle with the Antwerpen trade.
