When the English lose the Hundred Years War, they lose "french" culture.

When the French win the Hundred Years War, they gain Causi Belli against the remaining states owning pieces of France.

Since the French have just cause against any state owning pieces of France, then in effect a: the french don't really gain anything; and b: a lot of good programming has been wasted.

Or at least that's how it seems to me.

A) Correct.

B) Wrong, the event doesn't have to benefit france further, and a CB and a core province is among the best things u can have in this game. Besides, scripting such an event is dirteasy. :D

What I'm enjoying right now - even though the HYW isn't over yet - is using Brittany as a magnet for stupid allies. Other European minor countries just love to ally with that mighty power (one province Brittany), then when I declare on Brittany (for a mere -1 stability hit) they declare on me and I conquer and annex them. Then I conclude a White Peace with my buddy Brittany.

Woohoo!

I might NEVER completely conquer Brittany if this keeps up...

One should definitely finish things up by diplo-annexing those 1 province nations you have force-vassalized (considering most start as your vassals, not a problem.

Best thing is to let some of those minors swallow each other up first. Then just diplo annex the survivors.
